Just letting you know that my gas struts arrived safely and I successfully fitted them to my car. It was as easy as you said it would be, I'm so happy with them you can't wipe the smile off my face :)  After years of having the wagon tailgate falling on my head I can't believe how easy and cheap it was to fix it. The stick that was used to hold up the tailgate for many years has now been retired.
